Deirdre Lynn Williams

Deirdre Lynn Williams was 48 years old when entered Heaven’s gates on Saturday, April 11, 2020. A Warner Robins native, Deirdre was the daughter of Richard “Dale” Dennis and Linda Gail Mingee. She enjoyed reading her Bible and studying Scripture. Deirdre also loved gardening and tending to the flower beds in her yard. She had a huge heart for animals and adored her pet dogs. Most of all, Deirdre loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will always be remembered for being strong willed, funny, selfless, ambitious, and most of all, compassionate.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Samantha Dixon (Wesley Moore), Tabitha Dixon (Carlos Castro), Ashley Dixon, Marlea Nelson, and Chanlea Williams; grand-children, Colton Moore, Greyson Moore, Dawson Moore, Adalynn Nelson, Alice Nelson, Colby Waters, and Keegan Waters; mother, Linda Gail Mingee and step-father, Gregory Mingee; father, Richard “Dale” Dennis; and several nieces and nephews.

Current Covid-19 restrictions in place also affect funeral customs and traditions. As a result, friends of Ms. Williams will be able to drop in for viewing and to pay respects at the funeral home on Friday, April 17, 2020, between the hours of 1:00 and 5:00 p.m. The process for this, however, will be that no more than 10 people will be allowed inside at one time, and social distance will be maintained. Please note: the family will not be present during these calling hours. A private service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. For friends wishing to support the family, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page, and the family also plans to make a Zoom link available for viewing the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to a fund benefiting Deirdre Lynn Williams. These gifts can be made payable to McCullough Funeral Home with “Deirdre Lynn Williams’ Memorial Fund’ written in the memo line.
