Denise Gautreaux Ridings

Denise Ridings, 61, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 2, 2017.

Denise was born on September 23, 1955 in New London, Connecticut to the late Norman and Francis Gauthreaux. Growing up in a Navy family, she lived in several cities including Lakeland, Florida before settling in Warner Robins. Denise attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and graduated from Northside High School in 1973. She continued her education at Macon College where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Denise then began her 25 year career at the ENT Center of Central Georgia as a Clinical Supervisor. She truly had a nurse's heart and continually tried to care for her family, friends, and others around her. Denise loved reading and spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She was a member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church for many years.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Ashley Ridings.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her high school sweetheart and husband of 44 years, Jimmy Ridings of Centerville; daughters, Stacey Ridings Stephenson of Warner Robins; Amiee Ridings Rushin (Cliff) of Kathleen; Tiffany Ridings Howle (Jerry) of Fredericksburg, Virginia; grandchildren, Emily and Macy Stephenson; Cailyn, Gavin, and Jake Rushin; Shepherd and Vivian Howle; and brothers, Jarome Gautreaux (Mitzi) and Doug Gautreaux (Susan Aldridge).

Visitation will be Friday, May 5, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McCullough. After the service, Denise will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
