Diane Clark

Diane Clark, 69, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 02, 2019.

Born on July 11, 1949, in Kenvir, Kentucky, Diane was the daughter of the late Paul Collins and Marie Fredricks Collins. She was a gifted caretaker and served as a nurse at the State of Michigan Psychiatric Hospital until her retirement in 2006. To say Diane cared about many would be an understatement. She never saw anyone’s flaws and loved everyone for who they were. Diane was a great neighbor and friend. She was a “social butterfly” in all ways. Diane enjoyed traveling and enjoyed vacationing as much as possible. The beach was her favorite place to rest and watch the sun go down. She also enjoyed planting flowers and being in the yard. Diane treated her grandchildren as if they were her own. She enjoyed reading to them and telling them elaborate stories. She also loved her two Chihuahuas, Reese and Junior. These pups are definitely going to miss their mom.

In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Collino.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Sherry Longworth, Joe Clark (Tammy), and Lisa Clark (Chris Whited); grandchildren, Paige Longworth, Jordan Woods, Makenna Woods, Liz Lee, Joey Clark, Brittany Clark, Briana Clark, Veronica Clark, Mason Clark, Kelsi Whited, Kadie Mason, Haley Hill; four great grandchildren; and siblings, Jim Collins (Dawn), Gay Dick (Mike), Debbie Lucio, and Rhonda Moore (Ken).

At the family’s request, all services will be private.
