Loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend, Doanh Tran, 89, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 2, 2019.
Born in Hanoi, Vietnam, Doanh was the son of the late Nham Huu Tran and Suu Thi Tran. Escaping North Vietnam in 1954, Doanh bravely relocated his large family to South Vietnam. Doanh’s favorite past times included eating steak and lobster, going to Golden Corral, drinking red wine and meeting new people. His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved family, who celebrate him as a man who risked everything to preserve their rights and freedom.
In addition to his parents, Doanh was preceded in death by his loving wife, Thu Bich Tran, and son, Hai Tran.
His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Dich Tran, Huan Tran, Nga Tran, Khue Tran, Uy Tran, Dai Tran, Phong Tran, Phi Tran, Dai Tran, Duc Tran; and siblings, Tran Huu Thanh, Tran Huu Chau, Tran Huu Long, Tran Huu Hien, Tran Huu Phua, Tran Ngoc Bich, and Tran Ngoc Loan.
