Dollie A. Jackson

July 11, 1940 — February 25, 2021

Dollie Jackson went to be with the Lord on February 25, 2021. She was 80 years old.

The epitome of Southern charm, Dollie was one of a kind. She could brighten the room with her smile and laughter. She was fun and was known for her tendency to cut up all the time. She was a devoted member of Friendship Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Warner Robins. She was a well-known employee of Houston Medical Center where she worked as a patient representative. She was also a saleswoman for the Buyers Guide for many years. A doting grandmother, Dollie adored her family and her grandchildren were her world.

She was born in Jones County in Gray, Georgia, on July 11, 1940, to the late Harvey Anchors Avery and Katherine Miller Avery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Donna Hutson Southern and Patricia Hutson; brothers, Harvey Avery, Max Avery, and Thomas Avery; and sister, Betty Worsham.

Left to cherish the memory of this dedicated mother and grandmother are her daughter, Linda “Lucy” H. Goodrich (Patrick); grandchildren, Elizabeth Dixon, Alicyn Graham (Gary), and Avery Goodrich; and great grandchildren, Rylee and Jessie Kate; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
