Donald B. Fox, 77, entered into eternal life on Saturday, August 2, 2008.
Mr. Fox was born on April 1, 1931 in Genoa, Nebraska. With pride and honor, he served his country in the U.S. Army and participated in the Korean Conflict. Subsequently, he attended the University of Nebraska and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Dairy Sciences which led to a successful career as a Plant Manager and Executive with Pet Incorporated. He was also a Vice President at Stuckeys. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he was active in the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Rotary Club. His parents, James Donald Fox and Lucille Meyer Ehlers, and stepfather, Norbert Ehlers, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Jeanne Lusk Fox, sons, James Fox (Linda), Naples, Florida and Joseph Fox (Chandra), Athens; daughter, Mary Fox McCombs (Trae), Macon; grandchildren, John, Christina, Maria, Catherine and Serena Fox and Elise and Abbey McCombs.
There will be a Rosary at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 4, 2008, with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Monsignor Fred Nijem and Fr. John Johnson officiating. Entombment will follow in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
