Donald Mark Wilson

Donald Mark Wilson, 69, entered into rest on Thursday, June 30, 2011.

Mr. Wilson was born on June 14, 1942 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was of the Baptist faith. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Army. Donald was a civil servant at Robins Air Force Base. Living most of his life in Houston County, he received his degree from Macon State College. He was Master Mason of Tyrian Lodge #111. He loved spending time with his family and his pet of fourteen years, Duke and he enjoyed woodworking. His parents, William Wade Wilson and Letha Strickland Wilson, both preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife of forty seven years, Ruby Lashley Wilson, Warner Robins; cherished sons and daughters in law, Donald Scott Wilson and Gale of Elberton; Mark Alan Wilson and Tonya of Bonaire; brother, Wayne Wilson, Warner Robins; sister, Sandy Martin Vacek, Texas; grandchildren, Bryant, Jacob, Hunter, and Jed Wilson; his pet, Duke; and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 2, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Walls officiating. Private Interment will be in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Southside Baptist Church Building Fund, 1040 South Houston Lake Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
