Donald W. Mennini

Donald Mennini, 75, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 24, 2017.

Donald was born on September 16, 1941 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Paul and Pia Mennini. With great pride and honor, he served in the United States Navy before beginning his career at Armellini’s Trucking Company where he retired as a dispatcher. Donald was an avid sportsman, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling in a league, and cooking; he was an excellent chef. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his beloved family. Donald was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Stacy Pieri.

His memory will forever be treasured by his daughters, Kimberly Baldwin (Christopher) of Macon; Jennifer Madden of Forsyth, Leslie Masi (Jay) of Marco Island, Florida; grandchildren, Alex Madden (Chelsie), Jonathan Pieri, Alan Lane, Harrison Pieri, Caitlin Madden, Olivia Pieri, Mary Grace Madden, Nicholas Masi, Gavin Vito; and sister, Dolly Meeker of Erie, Pennsylvania.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A memorial service to celebrate Donald’s life will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. After the service, Donald will be laid to rest in Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Donald W. Mennini to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 3715 Northside Pkwy Bldg. 400, Atlanta, Georgia 30327.
