Doris Elaine Taylor

Doris Taylor, 67, walked into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the morning of Friday, December 15, 2017.

Doris was born in Brunswick, Georgia on January 4, 1950 the first born daughter of the late John Len and Evelyn Kennison. From the time she was little, she was driven to be successful as nothing was impossible in her mind. Doris was strong-willed and had a generous and selfless heart. She loved picking up stray dogs and feeding and clothing anyone in need. She was a hilarious and much-loved activities director at Elberta Nursing Home who loved all of her patients, especially her Alzheimer’s patients. Doris made miracles happen for them each and every day. She very much loved Jesus and was a Prayer Warrior.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Travis Tucker and Brian Jones.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving daughter, Michelle Long; grandchildren, Alexander, Ian, and Christopher Long; brother, Len Taylor; and many friends and extended family.
