Doris P. "Dot" Waddell

Dot Waddell, age 88, went to be with Jesus on Friday, December 25, 2020. Born in Lumberton, North Carolina on December 1, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Mard and Beatrice Pittman. Dot was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who dearly loved her family and the Lord.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Eunice Wilkins, Stephen Pittman, Barbara Pittman, and David Pittman.

Dot is survived by her loving husband, Robert Waddell of Byron; children, Ronald K. Waddell of Augusta and Sharon Leo of Byron; grandchildren, Stephanie and Kara Waddell, and Emily Leo and Caleb Leo (Lily); great-grandchildren, Devin, Sierra, Hunter, Callie, Khloe, and Oliver; siblings, Ruby Pittman and Esther Alford, both of Lumberton, North Carolina, Jean Wilkins of Concord, North Carolina, Nell Taylor, Mard Pittman, Jr. (Ann) and Tommy Pittman (Brenda), all of Bladenboro, North Carolina; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 concerns, a private funeral service will be held for immediate family at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 28, 2020, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Dot will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery following the service.
