Doris Virginia Moore

Doris Virginia Moore, 77, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2006. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 on Saturday, December 9, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Moore was born on December 29, 1928 in Cedartown, Georgia. She was a member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother she will be dearly missed by her family. In 1981, Mrs. Moore retired from Houston Medical Center where she was employed as a registered nurse for many years. Two sons, James B. Moore and Daniel A. Moore, and her parents, Thomas D. and Verlie Tillery Carter, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her loving husband of fifty four years, James Andrew Lee Moore, Warner Robins; children, Kimberley Starr Hallman, Robin “Rusty” Carter Moore, Robert Mark Moore, all of Warner Robins; David B. Moore, Norcross; grandchildren, Melissa Moore, Michelle Moore, Jessie Lee Moore, Ashley Moore, Lauren Moore, Jeremy Barrow, Jason Barrow and great grandchildren, Trevor Barrow, Laynee Barrow and Clay Barrow.
