Dorothy Elizabeth Goodwin

Dorothy Elizabeth Cherry Goodwin, 87, entered into rest on Thursday, December 4, 2008.

Mrs. Goodwin was born on March 16, 1921, in Macon. A devoted homemaker, she called Second Baptist Church her church home and was a member of the Faith Sunday School Class. Her son, Paul Goodwin, Jr.; husband, Paul E. Goodwin, Sr.; and parents, W. F. Cherry and Grace Sanderland Cherry, all preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, William Larry Goodwin, Warner Robins; daughter, Ruth Barbee (Ed), Gray; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 6, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Mike Slade officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Second Baptist Church Building Fund, 2504 Moody Rd, Warner Robins GA 31088.
