Douglas Smith passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin. He was 65 years old.
Douglas was born on August 21, 1951 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Clarence Kiser and Agnes Faye Perkins. He was a proud Army Veteran retiring with over 30 years with Huff Enterprises.
His memory will forever be treasured by his lifelong friends, Donna Branton Bryant, Billy Cantrell and Mike Huff all of Byron.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at The Farmhouse located behind McCullough Funeral Home with visitation immediately following until 7:00 p.m. A private burial will be held Friday, January 6, 2017 at Georgia Veteran's Cemetery.
