Dyke Green

Dyke Green, 61, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2017.

Dyke was born on March 23, 1956 in Highland Falls, New York to the late Donald, Sr. and Marion Cole Green. He grew up in a military family, which moved around to many different bases during his father's career. Dyke along with his family, settled in Warner Robins where he graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1974. After high school, he followed his father's example and joined the Air Force where he served for several years and obtained the rank of Staff Sergeant. Dyke then worked in construction all around the Southeast before returning to Warner Robins to help care for his mother when his father passed away. In his spare time, he enjoyed communicating with other people around the country by way of Ham Radio.

Along with his parents, his brother, Phillip Samuel Green, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his brothers, Don Green, Jr. (Kellie) of Warner Robins; Tim Green (Tammy) of Eatonton, Georgia; nieces, Jessica Miles (Daniel), Amanda Bryant (Brookes), and Stephanie Brookings (B.J.), and nephew, Josh Green.

A memorial service to celebrate Dyke's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2017 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
