Edmond Paul Reehling, 51, entered into rest on Monday, April 21, 2008.

Paul was born on January 10, 1957 in Columbus, Georgia. A self-employed businessman, he owned Jughead's Cycles in Byron. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Following the 1997 death of his son Edmond Paul Reehling, Jr. in a boating accident, Paul and his wife successfully lobbied for tougher boating regulations. They were the guests of then Governor Zell Miller when he signed the bill into law. In addition to Paul Jr., his mother, Mary Jo Reehling, also preceded him in death.

Family members include his wife, Kimberly Ann Reehling, Fort Valley; daughter Katharine Price Reehling; Fort Valley; father, Paul Reehling, Macon; brother, John Price Reehling, (Marjie), Macon; sister, Rosemary Reehling Jiles (Tony), Macon.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 23, 2008 from 500 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment following in Riverside Cemetery in Macon. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Sacred Heart Catholic School, 250 S. Davis Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
