Jack Ball, Sr., 74, entered into rest on Saturday, March 9, 2013 after an extended illness.
Mr. Ball was born on February 17, 1939 in Pulaski, Tennessee. A native of Tennessee, Jack made Macon, Georgia his home for fifty-four years. A member of Central Fellowship Baptist Church, Jack was an avid gardner and outdoorsman, hunting and fishing at every opportunity. His profession was auto-body repair. As a local businessman, he co-owned Baker Body Shop until his retirement. His parents, Andrew and Edith Ball and siblings, Faye Roberts, Blondell Byrd and Lonnie Ball, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty-three years, Sharon Ball, children, Renee Hughes (Mike); Jack Ball, Jr. (Sheila), both of Byron and Vicki Pitts (John), Centerville; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sisters, JoAnn Smith; Jean Ferguson and Bonnie Sue Ball and brothers, Chuck and Bill Ball, all of Pulaski, Tennessee; a number of nieces and nephews. He will be sorely missed by his loving family.
Visitation will be Monday, March 11, 2013 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Central Fellowship Baptist Church with interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
