Elizabeth "Beth" Azbell Schwartz

Beth Schwartz was accepted into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 20, 2022. She was 72 years old.

Beth Schwartz was born in Montgomery, Alabama, on September 14, 1950. She lived a long and fulfilling life by serving her God and people. Her greatest love was helping children. Beth spent many years working for the Board of Education in school offices, substitute teaching, and in administration. She also spent 10 years serving in the Pre-School Ministry at her church home, Trinity United Methodist Church. Beth was a joy to those who met her. She was loved by everyone and will be deeply missed.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth “Betty” Jackson Azbell and Joe Allen Azbell of Montgomery, AL.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Louis Schwartz; daughter, Susan Schwartz Lozano (David); granddaughter, Gracie Lozano; as well as two brothers, and a sister.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2022, in Magnolia Park Cemetery where Beth will be laid to rest. Pastor Jackie Thomas will officiate the service.
