Elizabeth "Lisa" Morrissett

May 3, 1933 — December 7, 2021

Mrs. Elizabeth Charlotte “Lisa” Morrissett was reunited with her beloved husband, Mr. Bruce W. Morrissett in Heaven on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

A homemaker most of her life, Mrs. Morrissett was very involved with her children while they were growing up. She was a talented seamstress who helped to sew both cheerleading and band uniforms. Mrs. Morrissett worked for a few years at Irene’s Tailor shop and for 17 years in the cafeteria at Northside Middle School. During her husband’s military career, the couple traveled frequently. Mrs. Morrissett was an animal lover and loved her fur babies. She was an active member of Warner Robins First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Morrissett was preceded in death by her parents, George and Maria Haas Stalf; as well as her husband of 63 years, Bruce Morrissett.

She is survived by her four children, Ms. Theresia Wilder (Richard) of Gainesville, Florida, Ms. Karin Sallent (Jorge) of Gainesville, Florida, Mr. Ronald Morrissett of Warner Robins, Georgia, and Ms. Michelle Burk (Kris) of Warner Robins, Georgia. Mrs. Morrissett was also blessed with nine grandchildren, including Ryan, Brook, Landon, Russell, Evan, Jordi, Austen, Mitchell, and Lauren; eight great-grandchildren, Lillie, Kenli, Mason, Zoey, Calvin, Bryson, Ryleigh, and Kasen; and brother, Günter Stalf of Germany.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held privately in Magnolia Park Cemetery where Mrs. Morrissett will be laid to rest. For friends and family unable to attend, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made in Mrs. Elizabeth Morrissett’s memory to the American Lung Association, 2452 Spring Road, Smyrna, GA 30080 or Humane Society of Houston County, 810 Carl Vinson Parkway, Centerville, GA 31028..
