Warner Robins – Ella Powell, 81, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2004 in her home. Services will be held at 3:00 on Monday, March 22, at McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, March 22 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Powell was born in Marion, AL. She retired from the Houston County Board of Education after 22 years of service. Mrs. Powell attended New Hope Church of God. Her husband, Paul Isaac Powell; and parents Kersch and Hattie Mae Holladay, preceded her in death.

Survivors include daughters, Oleta Powell, Miami, FL; Vivian Phillips, Las Vegas, NV; Amy Walker, Shirley Hall, Sharon Barnwell, Norma Loera, and Tonia Glasgow, all of Warner Robins, GA; Deborah Berry, Byron, GA; Helen Matkin, Niceville, FL; and Melody Gatlin, St. Mary’s, GA; sons, Ivan White, Macon,GA; James Powell and Glenn Powell, both of Warner Robins, GA; stepsons, Wendell Powell, Arkansas; Albert Powell, Missouri; 35 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
