Ells Berry Jackson

Ells Berry "E.B." Jackson, 95, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 28, 2009.

Mr. Jackson was born on December 16, 1913 in Monroe County, Georgia. He retired from Robins Air Force Base as a Aircraft Mechanic. He was a witty individual who loved music, and called Houston Avenue Assembly of God his church home. He was preceded in death by his wife of seventy-one years, Jessie Lou Deason Jackson; son, Grady Jackson; and parents, William Grady Jackson and Sarah Elizabeth Snow Jackson.

His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Inez Strickland (Jack), McClenny, Florida, Fay Jones, Kathleen, Roy Jackson (Darlene), Centerville, Margie Strasser (Jerry), Madison, Alabama, and Sheila Scott (Mike), Dahlonega; nineteen grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, January 30, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2009 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Brother James Stocker officiating. Interment will follow in Perry Memorial Gardens with Reverend Mark Strickland officiating.
