Elsie Mae Shed Crowder, 87, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2007.

Mrs. Crowder was born on May 18, 1920 in Athens, Georgia. She lived most of her life in middle Georgia. She was a homemaker, and of Baptist faith. Her husband, John Lee Crowder; parents, Clarence Shed and Nannie Shed; son, James H. Crowder preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, John Robert Crowder (Charlotte) and Michael Stanley Crowder, Macon; daughter, Cora Jane Thompson, Hawkinsville; brothers, Miles Shed and Marvin Shed, Macon; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the McCullough Funeral Home Chapel, with service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
