Elver ''Carolyn'' Maddox

Elver ''Carolyn'' Maddox, 60, entered into rest on Friday, August 10, 2012.

Carolyn was born on March 2, 1952 in Greenwood, South Carolina. She was a former employee of Jones Transportation in Forest Park, Georgia and truly enjoyed time spent with her family. Her parents, Robert Drake and Kathryne Buford Drake; and siblings, Joe Marlon Drake and Barbara Lynn Drake, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her adoring daughters, Melissa Brown (Joseph), Fort Valley and Michelle Martin, Jackson, Georgia; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna Faye Hunt, Locust Grove; Mary Kathryne Farr, Senoia, Georgia; and Brenda Joyce Johnson, Madison, Georgia; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry St, Suite A, Macon, GA 31201.
