Elwood Davis "Woody" Holt

January 17, 1948 — October 9, 2021

Warner Robins resident Elwood Davis “Woody” Holt passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 9, 2021. He was 73 years old.

Originally from Rochester, New York, Woody was the son of the late Leo and Ruth Holt. He enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he reached the rank of Staff Sergeant and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. After his service to his country, Woody worked in civil service at Robins Air Force Base as a Gyro Technician. He has lived in Warner Robins with his wife since 1982. He has been married to Patricia Coman Holt for over five decades. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed vegetable gardening.

Those who survive him include his wife of 53 years, Patricia Holt; son, Kevin Holt (Ashley) of Warner Robins; daughter, Corinna Cox of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Bryant Bennett, Elijah Bennett, Elizabeth Cox, Mason Holt, Carter Holt, and Archer Holt; as well as two siblings.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made in Elwood Holt’s memory to Sandy Valley Baptist Church Children’s Ministry, 1124 S. Houston Lake Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
