Emilie Dunn, 88, entered into rest July 30, 2008. Mrs. Dunn was born in Brooklyn, New York, on December 3, 1919. Sacred Heart Catholic Church was her church home. She was a paralegal in several law firms in New York, New York, and Charleston, South Carolina. Her husband, Edward Alphonsis Dunn, parents, Gustav Paul Stade and Elizabeth Stade, two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Family members treasuring her memory are her son, Warren (Lynn) Dunn, Warm Springs; daughter, Suzanne (Paul) Dunn-Poorman, Warner Robins; sister, Mary Jane Hazel, Orlando, Florida; grandchildren, Michael (Misty) Dunn, Dr. Seth A. Dunn, Paul Kenneth Poorman III and Declan Poorman; and great-grandson, Gage Dunn.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 3, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Father John Johnson officiating. Committal will follow in Andersonville National Cemetery.
