Emma Jane Shellhouse

Jane Shellhouse, 79, died on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 after several weeks in the hospital.

A native of Edison, Georgia, Jane was born on November 23, 1937 to the late Harper Leroy and Parry E. Sinquefield. She met Earnest Shellhouse while in high school and they became engaged, and married upon graduation. They were married on August 9, 1957. Jane earned a nursing degree from George C. Wallace State Community College. The Shellhouse family moved to Warner Robins in the 1970's and Jane worked as a registered nurse there and in Macon. She was a member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church and loved her Sunday School Class dearly.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shellhouse was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Shellhouse; a sister and three brothers.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her devoted husband of 60 years, Earnest Shellhouse of Warner Robins; sons, Earl Shellhouse of Bicknell, Indiana and Jerry Shellhouse of Cartersville, Georgia; grandchildren, Michael Shellhouse, Amanda Schneck, Mallory Pecoulas, and Jake, Josh, Lance, Rachel, Charlotte, Violet, and Emma Shellhouse; great-grandchildren, Landon Schneck, Johnny Shellhouse, and Preston Schneck; and brother, Sonny Sinquefield of Miami, Florida.

There will be a private ceremony to honor Jane's life at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Jane Shellhouse to Shirley Hills Baptist Church Building Fund, 615 Corder Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
