Ernest Eugene "Buddy" Cameron

On the afternoon of Friday, March 10, 2023, Ernest Eugene "Buddy" Cameron, 93, joined his Lord and Savior in heaven.

Ernest was born on November 27, 1929, in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Samuel and Hazel Cameron. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Air Force and worked civil service at Robins Air Force Base. For over eighty years, Ernest was an avid golfer having made a hole in one five different times. He was a member of Byron Baptist Church and the C.L.A.M.S Sunday school class. Ernest will be missed by all those who had the privilege of meeting him.

His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife of seventy years, Margie Cameron; daughters, Terri Cameron Carr (Thomas) and Debbi Cameron Loi (Dale); four grandchildren; two great grandchildren and sister, Margaret Hendrix.

Visitation with Ernest’s family will be Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Following the service, Ernest will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.
