Estelle L. Melton

Estelle L. Davis Melton, 72, entered into rest on Tuesday August 18, 2009.

Ms. Melton was born on January 7, 1937, in Milledgeville, and was of the Baptist Faith. Throughout her life, she worked various jobs, including manager of Family Dollar for many years. She was also a devoted homemaker. Her husband, Benjamin F. Melton; son, William "Bill" Melton; and parents, Estel Davis and Louise Smith Davis, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Melanie Donald, McDonough, Elaine James and Melinda Melton, both of Warner Robins; son, Robert Melton, Ukia, California; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and brothers, John Davis, Desmoines, Iowa, and Billy Davis, Los Angles, California.

Visitation will be Friday, August 21, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2009, at Magnolia Park Mausoleum, Pastor Todd Shearin officiating
