Estelle Redding Hamil

August 29, 1926 — June 13, 2014

Estelle Redding Hamil, 87, went to her eternal home in heaven on Friday, June 13, 2014. She was taken suddenly from us, but we are comforted knowing she joined her savior, Jesus Christ, and her two daughters.

How do you say everything you want to about the one who gave you life and taught you how to love? She was a loving, caring woman who never met a stranger. She loved her family and friends and had a way of making you feel better after talking to her. She had a generous spirit and was quick to give wise advice. We will treasure her memory in our hearts and will take care of our daddy as she would require us to.

The daughter of the late, Guy and Omie Redding, Sr., she was raised in Bremen, Georgia, along with her eight siblings. She lived in Warner Robins since 1953.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Tracie Dockery and Gwinnette Williamson. Survived by her husband of sixty-seven years, Bill Hamil, daughters, Judy Goodman (Ben), Denese Tabor (Alvin); son, Gary Hamil (Jan), all from Warner Robins; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, June 16, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
