Esther Elizabeth ''Betty'' Beardsley

Esther Elizabeth “Betty” Beardsley, 66, died Sunday, April 4, 2004 in her home. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at the Bonaire United Methodist Church chapel. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Mrs. Beardsley was born in Crowley, LA on March 17, 1938 the daughter of the late Thomas Eugene and Elmira Hundley Griffin. She was a Certified Nurses Assistant with Hospice of Houston County. Mrs. Beardsley was a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Macon Motor Boat Club. She was a member of Bonaire United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Harry Beardsley, Jr., Warner Robins; daughters and their husbands, Nancy Ann and Timothy Kuo, Sterling VA; and Kay and Mike Van Der Heyden, Longwood, FL; grandchildren, Amy Kuo and Brian Kuo, Sterling VA; and Linda Van Der Heyden, Longwood, FL; brother, Jim (Shirley) Griffin, Crowley, LA; and sister, Virginia (Bill) Graves, Madison, MS.
