Eugene Cois “Cowboy” Harris

Lifelong Macon resident, Eugene Cois “Cowboy” Harris, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021, after a long battle with cancer.

Cois was born in Macon on November 27, 1956 to the late Eugene Borders and Alice B. Voight. He attended Southwest High School and enjoyed a career as a paint contractor. Cois worked for Kevin Epps for over 20 years and loved every minute of it. He lived for socializing with friends and family and loved watching football, fishing, drawing, painting and admiring art work.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Emma Rebecca and Walter Garfield Harris.

Cois is survived by his siblings, Richard Lee Harris, Larry Allen Harris and Barbara Holland, all of Macon, GA and Alice June Krebs of Jacksonville, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
