Eugene Larkin, 81, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 6, 2014.

Eugene was born on May 25, 1932 in Ellaville, Georgia. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines Corps and in the United States Army Reserves. Eugene retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. He called Sandy Valley Baptist his church home. Eugene's parents, Cecil R. Larkin and Nannie Larkin-Crook, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Loretta Larkin of Centerville; children, Lisa Branch (Jimmy) of Forsyth, Georgia, Jeff Larkin of Centerville, Georgia and Melanie Schneck (Robby) of Perry, Georgia; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; siblings, Polly Parham of Trenton, Florida, Ruth Melton of Rebecca, Georgia and Roy Larkin of Byron, Georgia; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 8, 2014, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2014 at Sandy Valley Baptist Church with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Pastor Phil Bryant will officiate.

The family will accept flowers or memorial donations may be given to Homestead Hospice, 500 Osigian Boulevard, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
