Eunice I. Drake

Eunice Drake, 92, entered into rest Thursday, November 13 2008.
Mrs. Drake was born on October 25, 1916 in Swainsboro, Georgia. During World War II, she worked as a riveter, preparing ships bound for conflict. After the war, she worked as a seamstress. In retirement, she spent most of her time outdoors, gardening, fishing and teaching her grandchildren how to fish. She was of the Baptist Faith. Her parents, Hill and Lily Meadows, preceded her in death.

Treasuring her memory are her sons, Wayne Bush, Warner Robins, Travis Bush (Jessi), Kathleen, and Danny Bush (Mary), Grantville; grandchildren, Melody Thomas, Donna Warlick (John), Robert Bush, Michael Bush (Wendy), Bryan Bush, Chris Bush and Danielle Bush; great-grandchildren, Jessi Owens (Brandon), Tyler Kinsler, Allie Warlick, Abbie Warlick, Maddie Bush, Sam Bush, Christina Bush, and Hannah Bush.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2008 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, with visitation immediately preceding at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Happy Hour Workshop, 716 Young Avenue, Warner Robins GA 31093.
