Evelyn Jones

Evelyn Jones, 91, entered into rest on Thursday, September 6, 2012.

Mrs. Jones was born on June 14, 1921 in Duluth, Georgia. She worked for Citizens State Bank as a loan originator and also enjoyed working as a real estate agent for many years. A charter member of First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins, Evelyn loved volunteering in the food kitchen at church and was a member of the Wesley Sunday School Class. Her husband of nearly seventy years, Allison C. Jones; and parents, Charles Wynn and Minnie Hamilton Wynn, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Rebecca Lashley (Gary), Warner Robins and David Jones (Tammy), Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Allison Ethridge (Scot), Kevin Lashley (Wendy), Kristin Peterson (Simon), Amber Jones, and Julianna Jones; six great-grandchildren, Trey and Blake Ethridge, Gracie and Reese Peterson, and Isabelle and Olivia Lashley; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will immediately follow in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will accept flowers or memorial donations may be given to First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins, 205 N. Davis Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31093 or to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
