Evelyn O'Neal Hardaway

Evelyn O'Neal Hardaway, 91, entered into rest on Saturday, June 25, 2011.

Evelyn was born on September 13, 1919 in Monroe County, Georgia. She graduated from Mary Persons High School, and retired from Robins Air Force Base. Ms. Hardaway was a devoted member of and former Sunday School Teacher at Green Acres Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira E. (Ned) Hardaway.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Debra Hardaway, Warner Robins, and Cheryl Hardaway (Ronnie) Wood, Atlanta; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of Atlanta; and one sister, Jackie Meeks, Atlanta.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations to be given to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210.
