Evie Betty Barnett

Betty Arcadia Reid Barnett, 75, went home to our Heavenly Father on Friday, April 8, 2011.

Mrs.Barnett (Me_Maw) was born on March 5, 1936, in Macon, Georgia. Also Known as Sister Reid, she was an avid animal lover and she loved playing cards, singing gospel music, helping others, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Edward Barnett; parents, J. C. Reid and Evie Mansfield Reid; son, Tommy Henderson; grandson, James Raffield; and fourteen brothers.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children; Justin Lee Henderson, and Bobby Woodward, both of Macon; Clarence Henderson III, Hollywood, Florida; daughters; Gail Vest, Pembroke, and Nikki Coleman, Byron; five brothers; one sister; fourteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, April 11, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m.on Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Rayford Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Bullock County Hospice or The Warner Robins Animal Shelter.
