Floyd V. “Flip” Walker, 81, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2006. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 2, 2006 from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be private.
Mr. Walker was born on March, 31, 1925 in Flint, Michigan. SSgt. Walker, a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, served his country for 15 years, obtaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. Floyd was a private contractor for Pope Maintenance. He enjoyed bowling, was an official for the Georgia Skeet Tournament and a world class skeet shooter. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association. His parents, Floyd and Marie Walker, preceded him in death.
