Frank Anderson Bazemore

Frank Bazemore, 79, died Saturday, June 14, 2003 at the Houston Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, June 16 at the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Byron City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, from 1:00 until 2:00pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Bazemore was born in Hawkinsville, GA. He retired from civil service at Robins AFB as an Electrical Engineer and also was a veteran of the Army Air Corp, serving in WWII. He obtained an engineering degree from Georgia Tech in 1950 and a MBA from Rollins College in Orlando, FL. He was a member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church and The Men’s Bible Class. His parents, Frank and Muriel Bazemore preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Betsy Bazemore, Warner Robins; sons, Robert W. Bazemore (Pam), Warner Robins, Richard H. Bazemore (Robin), Covington; daughter, Karen B. Hill (Doug), Florence, AL; grandchildren, Christie Lynn Bazemore, Tom Bazemore, Kelli Cole, Janna Cole; brother, John C. Bazemore (Faith), Eatonton; sister, Margaret Ann Jones (Travis), Byron; aunt, Margaret Miller, Gainesville, FL; as well as several nieces and nephews.
