Frank E. Mansfield

On the evening of Wednesday, October 10, 2018, Frank Mansfield, 86 years old, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven.

Frank was born in Thomaston, Alabama on April 6, 1932 to the late Earl Lee and Fannie Dunkley Mansfield. He served his country in the United States Army and retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. Frank was a 30-year devoted member of Green Acres Baptist Church, enjoyed caring for his family, going to coffee shops, and spending time outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Joy F. Mansfield; son, Randy Mansfield; brother, Walter Gray Mansfield; and sister, Catherine M. Zehner.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving daughter, Rachell Davis and grandchildren, Sheree Miller (Danny), Ricky Davis, Jr. (Priscilla Sanders), and Kelly Davis, all of Warner Robins; great-grandchildren, Angela Miller, Dixie Miller, Hannah Davis, Cheyanne Davis, Ella Davis, Ricky Davis III, and Cheston Davis; brothers, James Lamar Mansfield (Irene) of Mobile, Alabama, and John Lee Mansfield (MaryAnn) of Linden, Alabama; sister, Linda M. Etheridge of Sweetwater, Alabama; and a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 16, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres with Dr. Johnny Ellison officiating. Afterwards, Mr. Mansfield will be laid to rest along with Mrs. Mansfield in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
