Frank J. Skye, Jr.

Frank J. Skye, Jr., 82, passed through the gates of heaven on Friday, February 27, 2015.

Frank was born on July 2, 1932 in Plainfield, New Jersey to the late Frank and Elinor Mathiskella Skyinskus. He was a member of Saint Patricks Catholic Church. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard during the Korean War. He then went to work for Ballantine Brewing in Newark, New Jersey, later he worked for Pabst Brewing Company. In 1971, Frank and his family moved to Bonaire when he was transferred to the Pabst Brewing facility in Perry where he was employed as a maintenance supervisor until he retired in 1992. He loved football and played for the New York Giants briefly back in the 50's and then several semi-pro teams. Frank also loved antique cars.

Along with his parents, his sisters, Sylvia Skyinskus and Cynthia Lenox, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of 52 years, Florence Malinowski Skye; daughter, Debra Murray (John); grandchildren, Noel Sean Murray, all of Bonaire; brother, William Skye of Carthage (Lucy), New York; sister, Joyce Langbeen (Robert) of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, March 2, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Bonaire Cemetery.
