Frederick Brian Schofill

August 27, 1980 — October 7, 2021

Frederick Brian Schofill was called to his heavenly home on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the age of 41.

A lifelong resident of Warner Robins, Brian was a 1998 graduate of Northside High School. The son of Hoyt Lynn and Helen Frederica Dorminy Schofill of Centerville, Brian was born and raised in Warner Robins. He met his wife, Kristin, when they were teenagers and the high school sweethearts dated for six years before tying the knot. An avid fan and supporter of Georgia Tech, the Atlanta Falcons and the Atlanta Braves, he backed his teams, win or lose. He attended many games to cheer on his beloved teams. He enjoyed playing golf as much as he could. Growing up in the 1980s, Brian had a passion for Star Wars and made a hobby out of collecting vintage memorabilia. A rock and roll buff all the way, Motley Crue was his jam and he could rock out with the best of them.

For 15 years, he worked as a sheet metal mechanic at Boeing before working at Robins Air Force base in civil service. He was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church. He was a wonderful cook as well as a grill master and spent a lot of his time in the kitchen making meals for his family. He loved cutting-up and had a special talent for making anyone laugh. Known for always putting his family first, Brian was a doting husband, father, and son. He adored the time spent at home with his family.

Those who will forever cherish his memory include his wife of 19 years, Kristin Schofill; children, Jakob and Averi Schofill; loving parents, Hoyt Lynn and Helen Frederica Schofill; brothers, Mark Schofill (Delana) and Kevin Schofill (Jeri Lea); in-laws, Mike and Sherry Campbell; sister-in-law, Ashlee Harden (Terrance); brother-in-law, Josh Campbell (Ashley); and many other treasured family members, best friends, extended family and friends including his “most favorite,” Billie Peacock in addition to many other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Southside Baptist Church. The funeral service to celebrate Brian’s life will immediately follow visitation at the church with Pastor Jerry Walls and Reverend Randall Nash officiating. He will be laid to rest at Magnolia Park Cemetery. For friends unable to attend at this time, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
