Gail H. Wright

Gail H. Wright passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at Coliseum Medical Center in Macon. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 7 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Georgia Kidney Foundation.

Mrs. Wright was born in Fort Gaines, GA. She was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. She was a member of the Newcomer’s Club, and a former member of the Ladies Church Bowling League. An avid bridge player, she also loved to read and sing and was a former member of the Warner Robins Community Chorus. She will be remembered as a generous, loving and kind wife, mother, sister, and friend. Her father, Ulysses Graham Hamrick, and mother, Mary Hamrick, both preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Lewis Wright, Warner Robins; sisters, Patricia H. Polk, Warner Robins; Sue H. Kidd, Bonaire; children, Mary Jane Wright, Warner Robins; Charles Hamrick Wright (and wife Kerri), Fort Valley; Holly Gail Wright, Warner Robins; grandchildren, Sunshine Nichole Wright, Alaska; Damon Michael Rogers, Gainesville, GA; Tyler John Wright, Fort Valley; and great-grandchildren, Harley Wright, Alaska; Sean Johnson, Alaska; and Eric Fender, Gainesville, GA.
