Gaile Carlene Knoblauch

May 26, 1941 — March 31, 2011

Gaile Carlene Knoblauch, 69, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 31, 2011. She was born May 26, 1941, to the late Carl and Dorothy Hindman.

She was a marvelous homemaker, loving mother, wife and sister. She always welcomed friends and family into her home and loved to entertain. One of her greatest joys was traveling with family and friends far and wide and embracing any opportunity that arose.

She is survived by her husband of over fifty-one years, James Knoblauch; children, James Knoblauch II and his wife Diana of Tampa, Florida; Tammy Knoblauch Jordan and her husband Andrew of Newport News, Virginia; Randall Knoblauch and his wife Christina stationed in London, England; nine grandchildren; Jessica, James III, Melissa, Dru, Jake, Cecilia, Brenda, Chance, and Casey; sisters, all of Warner Robins, Schyrell Bergman, Phyllis Horoszewski and Jan McCready; numerous nieces and nephews from around the world.

Visitation was held, April 7, 2011, at McCullough Funeral Home. A prayer service will be Friday, April 15, 2011, from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a. m. Saturday, April 16, 2011, Monsignor Fred Nijem officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Saint Rose Cemetery, Mount Vernon, Kansas, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to The Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
