Gary Lee Young

Gary Lee Young, 56, passed away at Houston Medical Center, on Wednesday, March 11, 2020. The son of the late Lawrence Sherdan and Deloris Angeline Young, Gary was born in Winston Salem, North Carolina. He was a gifted master carpenter who worked in the Warner Robins area for the past 16 years. Gary loved music, especially country and classic rock’n’roll, and his favorite band was Dire Straits. He had a passion for helping people and a tender heart towards animals. Gary also had a love for fast trucks. He will be missed by many.

Gary’s memory will forever be treasured by his sister, Yuvonnie Almeida of Warner Robins, Georgia; nephews, Christopher Nichols of Warner Robins and Troy Almeida of Fort Valley; aunt, Jean Pack of Narrows, Virginia; siblings, Cecil Glenn Young, John L. Pompey, and Lehman Burton, Juan Rodriquez, all of Warner Robins; and cousins, Linda Redman Oyler, and Brenda Redman of Tyler Mountain, West Virginia.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.
