Gary Lester Oglesby

Gary Lester Oglesby, 46, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2007.

Chief Oglesby was born on October 18, 1960 in Macon, Georgia. Chief Oglesby had recently retired from the United States Navy. His parents, Lester and Gloria Oglesby, preceded him in death.

He will be missed by his siblings, Christopher Leon Oglesby, Warner Robins; Vickie Oglesby Marchman (Danny M.), Albany; Connie “Rockie” Oglesby Horn (Richard), Centerville; four nieces and nephews, Kenneth Marchman (Melissa), VA; Kellie Sapp (Scott), Albany; Nathan Horn (Kristy), Warner Robins; Matthew Horn, Warner Robins; and several loving friends.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be on Saturday, April 14, at 2:00 p.m. in Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery located in Wilcox County. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The American Cancer Society % Houston County Relay for Life P.O. Box 4406 Macon, Georgia 31208.
