Gary Wayne Spence, 54, entered into rest on Monday, June 21, 2010.

Mr. Spence was born on December 18, 1955, in Ft. McClellan Army Base, Alabama. He worked civil service at Robins Air Force Base as a Non Deconstructive Aircraft Inspector. Among his many creative talents as an artist, craftsman, and mechanic, his talent with music stood out from the rest. He loved playing his guitar and sharing that talent with the many bands he played with. His father, Raymond Neal Spence, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his mother, Lila Vaughn Spence, Farmington, New Mexico; former spouse and life long friend, Vicki Tucker, Warner Robins; daughter, Brittney Everding and husband, Kevin, Warner Robins; and son, Christopher Wayne Spence, Atlanta.

Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Pastor Curtis Thomas officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations payable to Parkinson's Disease Research (on memo line: Dr. Mahlon Delong/In Memory of Gary Spence) and mailed to: Mr. Barry Steig, Emory University S.O.M. Neurology, 101 Woodruff Circle, Room 600, Atlanta GA 30322.
