George Emory Floyd

Mr. George Emory Floyd, 78, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2007.

Mr. Floyd was born on July 9, 1928 in Dodge County Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith. George retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where he worked as a Steam Plant Operator. George was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was proud to be a 32° Mason with Tyrian Lodge #111 F&AM. In September 1998, his loving wife, Joyce Ann Treadwell Floyd passed away. His parents, Steven and Mary Lou Watson Floyd, and siblings, Harlow Brown, Wilmer Floyd, and Ruby Floyd Davis, also preceded him in death.

He will be missed by his daughter and son-in law, Diane and Kenny Crisp of Kathleen; sister, Grace Floyd Attaway, Eastman; grandchild, Amy G. Baker, Warner Robins; and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Tyrian Lodge #111 F&AM, 650 Tallulah Trail, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088 or to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital P.O. Box 31356 Tampa, FL 33631-3356.
