George G. Richardson, age 64, passed away December 7, 2003 at home under hospice care after a battle with cancer. There will be a visitation Tuesday, December 9 from 4:30pm until 6:30pm at 210 Southland Station Dr. at the Southland Station Apartments Clubhouse. There will be a private service for immediate family at a later date.
George was an ardent supporter of the University of Alabama where he earned his engineering degree. He was employed as a civilian engineer for the last 13 years at Robins AFB.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years Brent, son Paul Bradley Richardson of Austin, TX, daughter Lara Richardson Schu of Atlanta, and brother Thomas Nix Richardson of Birmingham, AL. He was the son of the late George G. and Mable Peters Richardson of Birmingham, AL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Portsbridge Hospice, 115 Arkwright Landing, Macon, GA 31210 or the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1544, Warner Robins, GA 31099-1544.
