George Melvin Quarles

George Melvin Quarles passed away at Houston Medical Center on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. He was 73 years old.

Born in Rome, Georgia, George was the son of the late Roger and Louise Quarles.

George worked at Kimberly-Clark as an electrical engineer for 32 years before retiring. George was a repair person with a green thumb, he thoroughly enjoyed working with his hands. George was a member of The Assembly in Warner Robins.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of 31 years, Jan Quarles; daughter, Sondra Long of Warner Robins; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
