George Michael Mclean

George Michael McLean, 55, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 20, 2008.

Mr. McLean was born on June 4, 1952 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He served his country as a paratrooper in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict and worked in construction as a tile setter. George's favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Family members include his daughter, Jennifer Meeks (Paul), Avon Park, Florida, one grandchild; mother, Mary Jaquess, Warner Robins; father, George L. McLean, Gold Beach, Oregon; sisters, Carla Smith (Jack), Byron and Jessica Kinne (Ted), Kathleen; step-sister, Gina McDonald (George), Arizona and step-brother, Terry Jaquess (Margaret), Montgomery, Alabama.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2008 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and family at McCullough Funeral Home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 332 N. Lauderdale St. Memphis, TN 38105-2794
