Gerald G. "Jerry" Boler

April 24, 1954 — March 28, 2019

On the evening of Thursday, March 28, 2019, Gerald Glenn “Jerry” Boler, 64, passed peacefully away.

Mr. Boler was born on April 24, 1954, in Anchorage, Alaska to the late J.D. and Gloria Beals Boler. He served his country with honor and valor in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. Following his military service, he continued serving his country as a civilian on Robins Air Force Base as an electronics engineer. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, he loved God and his family above all else and found great joy in the time that he spent with them. His well-grounded roots and strength made him like an oak tree for his family. In his spare time, you could find him on a river bank or in the woods. He was preceded in death by his Aunt Alice and Uncle Henry Walewski and his mother-in-law, Christine Pyles.

His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife of 17 years, Trish Boler; his children, Jamison Boler (Monica) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jessie Boler of Kathleen, and Kaitlyn Crosby of Lakeland, Florida; his grandchildren, Caleb, Leia, Lydia, Olivia, Elliott, Christiana, Julietta, and London; his brother, Rick Boler (Barbara) of Ray City, Georgia; his sisters, Marci Boler Miller (Ricky) of Byron and Donna Boler Nieves (Eddie) of Perry; and a host of other extended family and friends.

At the family’s request, all funeral services for Mr. Boler will be private.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mr. Boler’s arrangements.
